Río Gallinas School is a grade 1-8 expeditionary learning charter school in the West Las Vegas School District in Las Vegas, New Mexico. In its sixth year, it a public, tuition-free school, open to all residents of New Mexico.

Opening: Licensed Psychologist

Rio Gallinas School for Ecology and the Arts is seeking a licensed Psychologist.

The duties include, but are not limited to the following:

Identify and assess the learning, development and other needs of students.
Identify the environmental factors that affect learning and adjustment.
Use assessment data about the student, and confer with faculty and staff in developing appropriate interventions for students.
Provide interventions to students.
Provide consultation to parents, teachers, staff, with regard to the learning environment and needs of the students.
Apply and observe relevant current laws and policies that govern practice.
